2011 Details

2011 Policies
  1. The “postmark date” is the postmark date.  Please postmark your cards by then.  There is a two week window before I have my send out deadline, so as long as your late cards arrive by the 15th, that’s fine, but if the 15th nears and I haven’t gotten them- tough cookies.
  2. **New** Please send envelopes with your cards.  This has been a frequent request by a few of our regulars, so I’ve decided to acquiesce.  If you do not stockpile envelopes, have no fear, I do!  So, for $.10/envelope, I will include the correct envelope size with your cards.  I have A2 white and cream, A6 cream, 4 bar cream, 5x7 white, 5x5 white.  I do not have 6x6 square, so if you mail those cards, I can’t help you.  If you are interested in starting to stockpile envelopes, let me know I have a great online contact in MN.
  3. Please put your address as the return address on your SASE.  That way if you didn’t include enough postmark- it’s your issue with the postman.
  4. Feel free to mail your cards early.  That makes it so much easier for me!  You anti-procrastinators are welcome to mail all of your cards by the first deadline and I’ll store them for you.
  5. Postage is usually about $2, so you are welcome to just raid your stamps and save the trips to the post office.
  6. Please remember that you are swapping with ladies who have put a lot of time and effort into designing their cards and make sure you do the same.
  7. Postmark dates are as follows- 2/1, 4/1, 6/1, 7/1, 9/1, 11/1.  I will mail them from my house by the 15th of those months.  (Locals- Since I’m due the end of March, April could be fun, in case anyone wants to help me that month)
Challenges
  1. Each deadline will have a challenge corresponding to it.  You can incorporate the challenge any way you would like.
  2. You can do any theme of card you would like- birthday, holiday, wedding, whatever.  (hint, we’ve had lots of requests for birthday cards)
2011 Schedule
  1. Scallops- Postmark date 2/1 {Colette/Katie}
  2. Non-standard card shape (circle, square, heart...)- Postmark date 4/1 {Colette}

Anne

So, Anne sent a few of three different cards.  So, you won't get one of each of these, but you will get one of them.  Enjoy!

This photo does not do the card justice.  Wait until yours arrives and you can open it up!  :-)
